Scottish junior curlers, Team Carson, set a new record as they extended their national title winning streak to 4 in a row this weekend.
Team Carson beat Team Thompson in the finals of the Scottish Curling Junior Championships at Curl Aberdeen on Saturday night.
Orrin Carson, Logan Carson, Archie Hyslop, and Charlie Gibb performed superbly to win with a score of 9 points to Team Thompson’s 5 points.
Logan Carson said:
“We were nervous but raring to go. We had a job to do and we knew we were capable of doing it. To get a good start was exactly what we were after, and all nerves left after that point.”
As Scottish Champions they have earned their place to compete at the World Curling Junior Championships in Denmark in February 2026.
Carson said: “We’ve got a few more competitions and some good training blocks before February to sharpen up anything we need to. Being mentally prepared will be key for us.”
The victory is made even more impressive by the winning streak that precedes it as Team Carson have now won 4 national junior titles in a row, an incredible new record.
Carson said: “It was very nice to break a record, especially with 3 of us having 2 junior years left.”

In the Junior Women’s class, Team Archibald defeated Team Seftor with a final score of 8-4 to secure their Scottish junior title and their spot at the World Curling Junior Championships.
